  1. NutritionFacts.org

Does the threshold for toxicity of fructose apply to fruit or just to added
industrial sugars such as sucrose and high fructose corn syrup?

Watch below or click the link to watch on NutritionFacts.org:
    http://nutritionfacts.org/video/how-much-fruit-is-too-much

  2. When doc said “there was a problem though”, my mind immediately went “it’s
gotta be poop! it’s gotta lots and lots of poop!” Must’ve been a fun study.

  3. so there’s no limit to fruit?

    • Nope! Eat at your hearts content.

    • ……………………

    • unlike sucrose (sugar), fructose is processed by the liver rather than by
insulin (pancreas). After processing fructose is released as fat into the
blood stream hence causes no blood sugar spikes. Anything in excess is
      unhealthy for you.

    • +techtalk I ate fruits and measured blood sugar, went from about 70 to 130
within 30 min but went back down to norm after an hour

    • +Vanquish Audio yeah did some more research after that and fruit contains
both fructose and sucrose, just vary in amounts

Can you please link the scientific studies in the description? That would
be great otherwise we have to go hunting around on the internet to find
    them.

  5. what about fruit like watermelon that has one of the highest glycemic
index… are diabetics able to eat a lot of it if thats is what they
prefer? also i also heard of a doctor doing a study on how foods affect
sugar levels in different people… was there any control on how it
affected them differently before and after depending on the fruit?

  6. Hell, if it means I can eat a lot of fruit and not get fat I’d have no
problem whatsoever with going to the toilet every hour.

    • Well, eating only fruit is most likely the best diet for losing weight. Raw
Vegan may come second, Any vegan diet maybe great for weight loss. Maybe
the easiest way to become a Vegan is to watch Cowspiracy. Eating only fruit
should not make you poo so much either, maybe at first it will but you
      should adjust if that happens.

    • You can still get fat but it’s hard because fruit isn’t very calorie dense

  7. You sound like a calm Bill Maher.

  8. “Isn’t it bad to eat just fruit?”
“No, you just poop a lot.”

  9. 18 paleos disliked.

  10. 3:27 lol

  11. Add a squatting toilet to the mega fruit study and you’ll get an avalanche
of excrement! Great video as usual.

  12. This is the best info that I’ve ever learned on YouTube!

  13. Remember this. Even true frugivores like orangutans eat a 65% fruit diet.
They supplement with leaves, flowers, insects and even soil to obtain
nutrients not provided by fruit in sufficient quantities. They actually
prefer insects to fruit when they can get enough of them.

  14. Amazing video and loved the ending!

  15. Paul Josefsson

This is great! But what about candida? I’m struggling with a candida
overgrowth problem and a nutritional therapist told me to limit my fruit
intake to maximum one serving per day. I feel miserable because I miss my
    fruits :(

    • Thanks for the tip!

    • +Paul Josefsson hey, I had candida overgrowth for over a year and it was
one of the most brutally irritating experiences. I tried so many
      anti-fungal medicines to no avail. since I switched to a 100% plant-based
diet, including lots of fruit and herbal tea, my candida has virtually
disappeared. I hope this helps somehow.

    • Thanks! Happy to hear your candida is under control! I’ve been a vegan for
many years now, so I eat a 100% plant-based diet, Do you eat low-fat?

    • +Paul Josefsson I do eat low fat, the most fat I eat is a few flaxseed on
my oatmeal in the morning. 🙂 Green and white tea with lemon juice has
helped a lot too. Hope you get it under control, candida is the worst

    • Thanks!

  16. Slip into the carat life

I eat today 1 mango 6 apple 40 green graps is that bad for me?

  17. No wonder I poo a lot

  18. Lol my sister’s dietitian told her to change her diet to a diet (among
other things) “rich in fruit (2-3 pieces max/day)”. Way to contradict
    yourself, moron.
    Great video. Kudos.

  19. berries are the best fruits to eat, better than banana

  20. Sorry for me bad english, life in germany. Mean 75 g beeries – fresh berry
from the tree, or berry from the supermarket, or frozen berry? When frozen
berry, then heating with microwave? Or overnight unfreeze?
