So this is my two-week re-cap. I know you're probably disappointed to hear that I haven't JUST started Medifast. The truth is that I wanted to take an opportunity to really experience Medifast before I shared my thoughts with the world. Chances are, you're looking for someone to relate to — and you want an honest opinion on which to base your decision. After all, you're probably a lot like me and have tried every diet out there — and it's likely that you're hoping that Medifast is the final frontier for you.

Here it is in a nutshell: It's easy. It's actually brain-dead simple. The system is completely portable and ready for you to take on the go. The biggest surprise has been the sheer quantity of food — or the lack thereof. The tiny portions might put you off, but the truth is, they are filling and satisfying! I'm never hungry because I "eat" (or drink, or slurp, or munch) something every 2-3 hours.

Don't let the unassuming and generic packaging put you off, either! These little pouches contain nutritionally balanced goodness and really delicious foodstuffs. Whether it be a soup, shake, pudding, soft-serve ice cream, or one of the other amazing choices — you'll be shocked how delicious the food really is. It kind of blew me away! I'm shock at the flavor, texture, and aroma of the foods.

I was desperate myself and purchased Medifast on a whim — and after 2 weeks on plan, I've lost 15 pounds! I know some of it is water — but I know that my topography and "chub" feels different. I have energy like I haven't had in years. Keep in mind, I'm only eating between 800-1,000 calories without headaches or crabbiness. I even started on my first day of period (I call it "Shark Bait"). Something I was super surprised about was that I didn't have hormonal cravings for twizzlers and chocolate. I feel like this balanced nutrition is really agreeing with me.

    Hello!! So, first off, you’re absolutely adorable which makes watching your
    videos easy and entertaining. I’m thinking of starting this plan and wanted
    to know which products you think are tastier, what times you eat and how
    you plan your day. I’m so lost when it comes to planning so it’d be really

    • Thank you for leaving me such awesome love! I’m so glad you found me!! The
      foods are totally subjective and you honestly won’t know what you love,
      like, and hate until you just jump in and try them. Buy a variety pack to
      start so you can try it all. You might be very surprised!! Plus, there are
      ways to “doctor” the meals — check out sandys kitchen adventures d o t c o
      m for more ideas!! Planning my day? I use SIRI on my iPhone to help me
      remember to eat. When I eat something, I tell SIRI to remind me to eat in
      2.5 or 3 hours. Usually helps. Sunday I usually shop for the week for my
      lean and green meals. I try to think of what I want to make based upon my
      plans and schedule and buy ingredients for those meals. Keep in touch!!

  19. You are adorable! I just finished week 1 of Medifast. I lost 8.6 lbs,
    which I was a little disappointed in, but is still great. My husband works
    for TSFL so I don’t feel right about getting a health coach since he orders
    my food for me. However, I feel like I need some encouragement that doesn’t
    come from hubby and it looks like your channel will be perfect! Thank you!
    I can’t wait to work my way through your videos as I go on my own journey.

      lose that much weight in one week

  20. Does 20 boxes of meals last for a full month?

    • +L Baker If you’re doing the 5 & 1 plan – 20 boxes of food (not snacks)
      should provide you enough food for 1 month.
