  2. Hello Dr Berg, I wanted to thank you sooo much for sharing these videos
    with us..!
    I am dealing with a number of problems and your videos have really
    enlighten my life..

    In previous videos you have talked about Potassium -and have recommended to
    take it naturally in the form of Nitrate or Lactate. If we take a
    Supplement of Potassium, will it help us in the same way or not ??? And
    what ” quantity ” of potassium is it needed ? I have found Supplement of
    Potassium Gluconate and Potassium Iodide -which is Best for cortisol
    balance ?

    • The best way to get your potassium is through vegetables – 7-10 cups per day

  6. 3 months since cutting out Grains & eating only a small amount of root
    veggies,… Not only have I lost 30 pounds but I am not bloated, blood
    pressure is down, I sleep better, have more energy & I breathe much better
    which I believe is due to not eating Flour (from what I read)I didn’t swap
    grains for more meat but more veggies 🙂
    I eat meat, vegetables & fat :)

    and Im always hungry… I feel like I’m only going to get bigger… ? I
    need help.

    half marathon for a few months, and had lost about 16 pounds, urinated
    frequently, was thirsty often than normal and had cramps in my legs at

    A couple of problems here. ‘sugar’ doesn’t always raise insulin. Fructose
    doesn’t raise insulin, in fact it helps to blunt the insulin release that
    glucose does cause. Also, eating protein causes insulin release, but no one
    goes around saying don’t eat chicken because it’ll make you insulin
    resistant. Fat is one of the main reasons people develop insulin
    resistance, not sugar consumption.

    After 3 week’s of low carbs, 0 sugar ,olive oil ,baking soda & kangen water
    i see today insulin level 4.1(72)(5:25 PM) & first level of color on the
    urine ketone test;yesturday & today in the morning the insulin level was
    5.9(104)
    today im eat just olive oil with baking soda and 2 spoons of sunflower
    seeds PLUS A LOT OF WATER WITH 10 PH)(COFEE WITHOUTH SUGAR OR CREAMER)
    0 CARDIO ,NO WALKING, NO ANY TYPE OF EXERCICES!!!! JUST DIET
    IS A HUGE VICTORY !!!!!
    IS POSSIBLE ,IS WORK!

  19. Around 7 minutes in, did you mean a typical 8oz of soda/orange juice is 35
    GRAMS of sugar rather than 35 tea spoons… great video by the way. keep up

  20. After watching this video twice I still do not understand what insulin
    resistance is. You explain what type 1 diabetes is, but the rest isn’t
    clearly stated.
